Board Chair
Philip Daniel Yatai is Board Chair of the Beacon of Transformative and Inclusive Development Center and a senior journalist with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). A development communication specialist fluent in English and Hausa, he uses reporting and media advocacy to spotlight nutrition, WASH, social protection and child rights issues across Kaduna and the FCT. He currently serves as Control Editor (Metro) and NAN Website Controller.
Trustee Secretary
Abigail Kikelomo Olatunde is the Trustees’ Secretary of the Beacon of Transformative and Inclusive Development Center and the organisation’s Executive Director. She is an M.Sc. candidate at Federal University, Lafia in Sign Language Communication & Interpretation (Special Needs Education), researching how inclusive practices affect learning outcomes for deaf blind learners in Kaduna State (expected 2026). An educator and advocate, she delivers programme, advocacy and project support/M&E work and is proficient in Nigeria Sign Language.
Trustee
Tolu Adeniyi is a Trustee of the Beacon of Transformative and Inclusive Development Center. A telecom and consulting leader with 21+ years’ experience, she is a Corporate Account Manager at jump.ca. Her expertise spans corporate sales and distribution, strategy, project management and IT service management. Previously based in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Bayelsa and Ibadan, Tolu also founded Ibadan’s first dedicated natural hair salon, Frollicles Natural Hair Studio.

Christiana Omolara Tudonu is a Trustee of the Beacon of Transformative and Inclusive Development Center and a banking operations professional with 10+ years at Wema Bank PLC. A Branch Service Manager, she oversees branch operations, cash control, GL reconciliations and service quality. She holds HND/ND in Accounting (Federal Polytechnic, Mubi) and has completed CIBN trainings in AML/CFT, information security, corporate governance and digital banking.

Oluwatobi Damilola Olatunde is a Trustee of the Beacon of Transformative and Inclusive Development Center. A finance and accounting professional with 5+ years in the banking sector, she holds a B.Sc. in Economics (Bowen University, 2015). Since 2018 she has progressed through the ICAN professional programme, deepening skills in bookkeeping, financial reporting and corporate finance. Her experience spans customer relationship management and streamlining accounting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Olufunke Olajumoke Betty Adegbite is a Trustee of the Beacon of Transformative and Inclusive Development Center and a Principal Counselling Psychologist at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). With 15+ years of student wellbeing work, she specialises in guidance & counselling, positive psychology and substance use prevention. She has completed the Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC 1–8) for Substance Use Disorder Professionals and international Counselling Skills training at City, University of London. She is active in CASSON, APROCON, TRCN, ANUPA and PoPAN.

Istifanus Akau is an Advisor to the Beacon of Transformative and Inclusive Development Center and a Policy & Evaluation Specialist with 13+ years on FCDO funded public sector accountability and governance programmes in Nigeria. He strengthens government systems, processes and mechanisms across health, education and climate change, and helps citizens influence policy, plans and budget processes.
